Work With An Award-Winning Composer

RSVP Now for Office Hours with Michael Bryan Stein

Family,

We talk a lot about what makes a film great—the story, the cinematography, the performances—but what about the sound? The score? The music that lingers long after the credits roll?

Enter Michael Bryan Stein—an award-winning composer who has scored over seventy film and television projects, including New Wave: Baseball’s Next Generation (UNINTERRUPTED, Exec Produced by LeBron James & Maverick Carter) and The Dawgfather: The Legacy of Don James (narrated by Joel McHale). With a PhD in Composition for Visual Media from UCLA, he’s not just about music—he’s about emotion, storytelling, and collaboration.

Michael says his creativity is fueled by empathy, curiosity, and collaboration—three things that drive so much of what we do as independent filmmakers. From the cinematography to the editing, every piece of filmmaking fuels his approach to composing. And now, he’s ready to share his process with us.

📅 Join us on March 20th for Office Hours with Michael Bryan Stein: Your Story Keeps the Score as we dive into:
🎬 How music shapes storytelling & audience connection
🎼 The composer’s process—from idea to final mix
🎧 How filmmakers can collaborate with composers (on any budget)

If you’ve ever wondered how to level up your film’s emotional impact through sound, this is the session for you. Don’t miss it.
