December Newsletter (Year in Review)

Happy Holidays fam! It's been a wild year, you've supported us through it all. We've grown immensely this year and it's all thanks to you. We wanted to take this time to celebrate all that we were able to 

• We launched the Branded lab and all of the fellows have gone on to work on branded campaigns in as Directors, Producer's, Editors or DP's. Mission Accomplished. 

• Alaa has won two projects through our partnership with GENERO.

• Abraham has been a frequent collaborator with mentor Harvey Burrell of Windy Films. 

• Recently, Okema Produced The Harder They Fall Oscars campaign, where Luis crewed as Cam Op! 

• This year, entered the Metaverse through our #ArtistAreEssiential  NFT auction to raise funds for a community, partnering with LinkNYC, Spatial and OpenSea to spread more awareness for POC in Web3.

• Our Instagram Filmmaker Spotlight has helped underrepresented filmmakers get visibility on their work during Black History Month, and we look forward to leveraging the platform more in 2022. 

• Members have received additional perks and resources from The Gotham.The Professional Pen, In The Cut LA and more!

We hope to continue making DOPE SHIT with you in 2022!
